The government depends greatly on the work of contractors to help it carry out its mission. For government technical personnel who need contractor support, it can be frustrating to deal with the confusing maze and incomprehensible language of government procurement and acquisition. Our company founder, John Baniszewski, has extensive experience in providing training to technical personnel to help them understand and get through that maze, and deal effectively with Contracting Officers.
Mr. Baniszewski’s 30 years at NASA were spent in the acquisition of large, complex systems. He has worked on “all sides” of the contract, having served as a Deputy Project Manager, Financial Manager, and Contracting Officer. He has offered courses to hundreds of technical personnel to help them navigate through the complex acquisition process and obtain the systems and services they need to complete their mission. These courses cover such topics as:
The learning methods used include lectures, discussions, group exercises (both large and small), lessons learned, and war stories. The lectures and examples are all derived from real contracts associated with a variety of government contracts and projects. Mr. Baniszewski can work with you to tailor his course material to meet your training needs.
"I have been working on a major project for the past three years. There have been numerous times that I didn't understand why something was being done a certain way, but have always been told it's the contract. This class has helped me understand that contract better."
