PMAL’s leadership programs draw upon lessons learned during a crucial time in our history – the American Civil War. In that war, thousands of people were placed in leadership positions. The quality of their decisions meant life or death, and determined the fate of our country. This program examines why some leaders performed well, and others poorly. Our programs include a stirring visit to the Antietam or Gettysburg battlefields, which are an easy commute from Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
PMAL’s project management & acquisition programs draw upon the lessons learned from the building of such modern marvels as the Hubble Space Telescope, Space Shuttle, and America's weather satellite systems. PMAL’s material draws extensively upon the huge, complex contracts associated with these projects, so that today’s Project Managers and Contracting Officers can learn from past successes and mistakes, and apply these lessons to meet current challenges.
