Many companies offer history-based training designed to help Government employees obtain the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQ’s) needed by senior leaders. Mr. Baniszewski brings a unique perspective to his training.  His federal career included 30 years with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, working on such projects as the Hubble Space Telescope.  His experience in leading change comes from his years of developing and executing project and acquisition plans in the dynamic world of major system development.  He learned about leading people by training and supervising hundreds of individuals from many backgrounds and cultures, and getting them to become contributors to project teams.  The space flight projects he supported were intensely results-driven, expected to be on time, within-budget, and technically successful. His business acumen comes from negotiating contracts, creating and defending budgets, and managing large teams of business and technical professionals.  In dealing with government contractors, project and program managers, scientific customers, and NASA’s federal and foreign partners, he learned how building coalitions contributes to mission success.  In his extensive study of history, Mr. Baniszewski recognized the parallels between the past and present.  He understood that the challenges government leaders face today are much like those government leaders faced over a century ago.  By combining his years of government experience and study of history, he has developed a unique and fascinating set of training programs that help the leaders of today benefit from the lessons of the past.
