John is absolutely first rate. He does an impressive job of preparing you for the field, making you really understand what was happening and what it must have felt like, and really linking the tour to valid management and leadership issues.
He does a great job of helping to visualize the actions of leaders 140+ years ago, and the ramifications of their decisions. He certainly leaves you with food for thought.
This seminar and tour was one of the best leadership training courses that I have received. Well done!
Project Management & Acquisition
Excellent presentation. A mix of Project Manager and Contracting Officer all in one, John was able to give perspective from both points of view. Told war stories that were directly applicable to the topic being presented.
The instructor applied the information to real life scenarios, and the class exercises helped too. Thanks for keeping a potentially dry subject fun and interesting!
The exercises were the BEST so far! They engaged discussions and a high level of participation.
